The AgriCheck network consists of agriculture experts, fact-checkers, media literacy specialists, and volunteers from across India. We collect misleading content related to agriculture - fake advertisements, pseudoscientific claims, misinformation about government schemes, climate change denial, and more.

Our team thoroughly verifies and fact-checks this content against trusted sources like scientific research, expert interviews, official data, and authentic news reports. We consult agriculture scientists, sector experts, and fact-checkers and use digital forensic tools to verify claims, images and videos.

Once the claims have been rigorously fact-checked, we publish the fact-checks and counter-narratives in the form of articles, videos, infographics and more in multiple Indian languages. Our goal is to make this content accessible to farmers and stakeholders across the agriculture value chain.
